Newlands Childcare is a mixed aged centre that caters for a wide variety of age groups ranging from 0 to 5.
Our children have lots of room to explore in a safe and secure environment. We offer a range of challenging and physical activities both inside and out, for all our children with a team of caring teachers to guide them.

7.30am - 6pm Monday to Friday
Fees
Children under three years old $65 per booked day
Children over three years old $62 per booked day
20 hours ECE is available for 3 and 4 year olds. Please enquire for further information and pricing about this.
All children are booked in for a full day regardless of drop-off and pick-up times.
Options of 1-5 days are available, please contact us to see what days are available. Fees are to be paid for 52 weeks per year regardless of statutory holidays, illness or family vacation times.
We require you to give us four weeks written notice if you wish to change/drop days, or withdraw your child from the centre.
Your child will need
Lunch and snacks
We encourage nutritious food in our centre by providing healthy food for morning and afternoon tea, giving the children the opportunity to try a wide variety of fruits and vegetables.
Parents are required to bring lunch for their child and additional snacks for throughout the day. We have heating facilities and a kitchen assistant who helps prepare the children’s lunches, so you are also welcomed to bring in food that requires heating.
Bottles and formula
Parents are required to provide bottles and formula as needed for their child.
Clothing and nappies
Children are encouraged to play outside all year round – outdoors we have sheltered areas for the children to play.
In Summer, children are required to wear a sunhat at all times when outdoors, sunscreen is provided by the centre unless you require a specific brand.
In Winter, so your child can play outside a warm hat, jacket and gumboots is required (and can be left at the centre) so even in colder weather, children can comfortably participate in outdoor play.
Changes of clothes – we provide plenty of opportunities for ‘messy play’ activities including painting and water play. Please provide a couple of changes of clothes and a wet bag suitable for teachers to place wet/dirty clothes in to take home.
Our centre uses reusable nappies, that are provided by the centre at no extra cost to you.
We recommend plenty of spare changes of clothes and a suitable wet bag for when your child is transitioning out of nappies and into underwear.
